Our friend and video game analyst, Michael Pachter has made some bold predictions prior to the release of the NPD numbers for December. According to him the Nintendo will have sold 3.25 million Wii’s and 2.6 million DS systems. Holy crap, they do print money for Nintendo. Along with the numbers he also says that the PS3 will be $299 by April, which comes as news to all of us. To follow suit, he states that Microsoft will drop the price of the 360 Pro model to about $249. I don’t think that these claims are outrageous because they have rumored for months now. I hope that all of the price drops come to fruition because all of us will be able to afford multiple consoles, so we all win, especially in these tough economic times.
