On Saturday, February 21st at approximately 2pm, Gamestop will begin their Street Fighter IV tournament at select stores. The contest is free to enter, and the prizes consist of:
First Round: SF IV headband and wristbands
Second Round: SF IV FIght Pad
Third Round:SF IV Tournament Stick
FInal Round: 3 day/2 night trip to San Fransisco and entry to the EVO 2009 Championship Series
The rules state that no joysticks or other controller schemes are allowed, which seems a little absurd. This would be a great chance for Gamestop to promote the fighter stick, and any legitimate fighting game should be played with an arcade style controller.
