After a long and eventful day at GDC I decided to end it by relaxing at the Game Developers Conference Awards show. Along with the jokes and awards being handed out we were told to stick around after as there would be a teaser from Infinity Ward. So we stayed, we laughed and had an overall good time. Then after the show was done the Infinity Ward logo appeared on the screen in front of us. It was then cut into a green voice modulation line that responded to what was going on with the noises. We heard lots of talking and preparation of guns being done, and then the screen was illuminated as guns went off. You could make out the forms of helicopters and marines shooting everything they could see. Then, as the action died down the modulation turned to Modern Warfare 2 and the date 11-10-09.

So there you have it, the next installment of the Call of Duty series will be releasing on the 10th of November. Not sure what the full name of the game is, as it would be rediculous to call it Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2. Fans of the series should be very happy about this as the game is not too far off. So settle your urge to play the new game by playing Modern Warfare, and strap in for more action later this year.
