Most people, I would imagine, have never once heard of this MMORPG that is being developed by the people at Star Vault. Those who know about it however are very much waiting to get their hands on it. Good news is after over 20 days of the countdown timer on the main webpage Star Vault not only released an amazing video, but beta sign-ups for their game. It was a mad rush at 8:00 am pst this morning when the site was overloaded and nearly impossible to see what was happening. As the dust settled though people were left with those two new additions to the site.
Mortal Online is referred to as the spiritual successor of Ultima Online. The games main focus is on Player vs Player combat that is quick, brutal and fun. One of the main draws of the game is the feature of full loot and free for all PvP. Normally games don’t allow you to loot other players corpses, however this game does which adds a new level of danger and excitement to the mix. This game can best be likened to the Elder Scrolls Oblivion, with its First Person View and attacks that aren’t automatic but come from the player clicking the mouse to swing their weapon. The world is to be a living, breathing world where players can do most anything they want. This is definitely a game to keep your eyes on.
