Capcom has let us all know that the first officially licensed Moto GP game on the Nintendo Wii will be released on March 24th, 2009. According to the press release, the Wii Remote will be turned into “virtual handle bars to to deliver the definitive two-wheeled racing experience.” I doubt that one, but I have always loved me some racing on 150 mile per hour crotch rockets. I hope I can get my hands on this one, but I wouldn’t buy it outright. This is definitely a niche title and is most popular in Europe and will probably sell well across the pond. Although this is a port of the Xbox 360 and PS3 with waggle, it does show Capcom is trying new things with its sports licenses. These risks are great for gamers and we hope to see more of this in the future from Capcom Japan and Capcom USA.
