Major Nelson has let us all know that gamers can now buy Xbox Live Arcade titles and Microsoft Points via Amazon.com. This new feature allows you to send the games or points as gifts, which is awesome for all those special occasions. I would bet that this partnership will bolster the Used Games features that Amazon has implemented recently because those gift cards could be turned into Microsoft Points. The other thing I would bet on is that this partnership is going to bring both companies a lot of revenue along with competition for the “gift abilities” of the Nintendo Wii. Does anyone think this is a bad idea. Let us know and hopefully there will be some Amazon only deals in the future, or even a Gold Box featuring Xbox Live games.
