After downloading the new Americas Army 3 client via Steam, I thought I might be able to make it through the training missions tonight. I was sadly mistaken because the game is completely borked for some reason. I have tried 3 times and the game just freezes and I have to kill the .exe from the task manager. I decided to check out the support forums for more information, but it seems that many, many others are having the same issues I am having. The game has always been on my radar because it is absolutely free, even though it is a ploy to get me into my local recruiting office. Please let us know if you are having similar issues because, seriously, this is annoying. Dear developers, please test your games and make sure they are at least playable, prior to releasing them to the masses. I hate it when this happens, yet this time, we don’t get free games out of it. Just a free game that doesn’t work and then, after a few fixes, it will work. Good job developers, I applaud you. Look for my impressions of the game when it is finally patched in a few days.
