Propaganda games is developing a new open world action RPG called Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned. This is not a movie tie in game and is being developed from the ground up with a totally new story. Currently it is scheduled for a Fall 2010 release for all the next gen consoles and PC. The game will be a prequel to the movies that we all hated, except for the first. The game definitely takes on an interesting art style and has a great premise. Hopefully the gameplay won’t have you falling asleep like the last film made you.
The pedigree at Propaganda games is an interesting one and they have only released the next gen reboot of Turok. It was a good game, but it has its flaws. The two genres are totally different that we have no idea what they are capable of for this new Pirates of the Caribbean title. Look for more screen soon. Sorry about the games press logo, but we don’t have enough money to pay for the extra stuff.
