So EA concluded their press conference with a better look at Bioware’s upcoming massively multiplayer star wars game.

Anyone who follows it knows that the Old Republic takes place thousands of years before the events of the movies which gives Bioware a lot of creative room.  This makes me happy, they have a lot of experience with the Star Wars franchise and they certainly know how to spin a good yarn.

However, the big announcement from Bioware on their upcoming MMO is that it will be the first MMO to be fully voiced.  Every NPC you come into contact with will have their own voice fully acted.  This makes it possibly the largest voice over project in the history of gaming.  Possibly even in the history of entertainment.

They then debuted the first cinematic trailer for the Old Republic.  I haven’t found it on YouTube yet (it aired a couple minutes ago, gotta give people time) but needless to say it needs to be seen.  We all know that trailers for MMO’s never disappoint and this one is no exception to that rule.  Look for it hopefully on this site in a few hours.
