Those of you dying to enter our upcoming Street Fighter IV tournament but lamenting the lack of funds in their bank account/number of moths in their wallet can rest easy now, for GameStop is currently holding a pretty sweet sale offering Street Fighter IV (PS3 & 360), amongst several other not-to-shabby titles for $19.99 each. And that’s NEW!
Some other games listed in the sale, running from today through August 2nd (this Sunday) and again, going for $20 NEW, are: Fear 2: Project Origin, Silent Hill Homecoming, Wanted: Weapons of Fate, MadWorld, Wario Land: Shake It, Wii Music, and Animal Crossing: City Folk. Not all titles are up for grabs online, but as of the time of this posting Street Fighter IV is being heavily promoted on the site, and is currently available.
Honest to blog (do people ever actually say that? Either way, it felt right to do so just now) I just went online and purchased a copy of SFIV for the 360, as I’ve been waiting to do since it came out. $19.99 you see, is the magic number for me and a game. If I want it, and it hits that price, all other mitigating factors – such as how many other games are sitting in my living room waiting to be played, as well as my current financial situation – go out the window.
