The LA Times reports in an article that Microsoft will reveal their new project, Halo Legends, a seven part anime style story set in the Halo universe, at Comic-Con today.
The five different production houses will be working on these short films are Casino Entertainment, Bones, Studio4 C, Production I.G and Toei Animation. The director of “Appleseed” and “Appleseed Ex Machina”, Shinji Aramaki, will help oversee the project. Microsoft’s 343 Industries, the new internal divison in charge of all things Halo, will be financing and overseeing production. Warner Bros. is on board to release them on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital platforms that aren’t Xbox Live early next year.
