What do kid’s love most? Animals and maybe ice cream. Due to release in fall of 2009, is EA’s 2nd SimAnimals game: SimAnimals Africa. Explore jungles and savannas, tame the exotic wildlife and collect rare specimens. They’ll encounter zebras, elephants, lions, gorillas and more, each with unique skills which can be developed through minigames to help them achieve their goals faster. Talk to parrots throught the DS microphone and have them repeat stuff back. Kids can connect to their friends and just like in Animal Crossing, they’ll be able to trade and explore together. The game mentions that there are as many as 70 rare objects in the world and “if players feed one of these rare items to an animal they may get an unexpected surprise!” Poop prizes? Excellent.
