Social networking sites Facebook and Twitter are alledgedly scheduled to make an appearance on the Xbox 360 “before Christmas,” according to a statement Microsoft exec James Halton made to EuroGamer recently. He said they will appear as separate applications rather than during a specific dashboard update. Beyond that, details were sparse.
At the very least, it might be kind of fun to tweet an achievement or quickly mentioning a game you’ve beaten with Twitter being a few button presses away. Beyond that though, I can’t see using those applications much on my 360.
