On July 23rd, Nintendo is transforming Military Island in Times Square into an island getaway, complete with a sandy beach, swimming pool and tropical lounge serving non-alcoholic beverages. Anyone who visits will get a chance to try out Wii Sports Resort in advance of its U.S. July 26th release date. The event will take place between 9am -3pm.

Wii Sports Resort is the first Nintendo game to feature the control enhancements of the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which promise to have greater precision and accuracy.
