That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, GameStop will award 5000 dollars to one lucky football gaming fan if they can prove themselves in the “Battle of the Gridiron” tournament to be held at GameStop’s 2900+ stores. The tournament will take place on Saturday, August 22nd. Anyone over the age of 13 can enter the contest, but those under 18 must get a signature from parents/guardians on their registration form.

Winners of the first round on the 22nd are invited to the second round on the 29th. In addition, the two top players from each store are invited to the Regional Finals which will take place on September 12. Then, the top 16 players will be lucky enough to share an all-expenses (meaning roundtrip airfare, hotel fees, $200 spending money and tickets to the Cardinals vs. Panthers game) paid trip to Phoenix, AZ where they will square off in championship event on November 1st.
