This is an interesting bit of news. According to formerly television-centric ratings maker Nielson, and their new video game ratings system, the Xbox 360 has become the first console to beat the PS2 in terms overall minutes played per month. The Wii is not too far behind, and the Ps3 is lagging a ways below.
Although they are “neck and neck” in terms in actual numbers, logic dictates that over time the 360 will permanently overtake the system, with the 360 already showing the highest percentage of active users over the last 6 months.
Interestingly enough, the Wii has the least active users apparently, with their numbers showing up waayyy below all other systems, including the GameCube!
