South Peak Games upcoming multiplayer shooter Section 8, will support X Server functionality, which can handle up to 32 players at once. What this means is that Xbox users will have the option of  running their own dedicated server using a Windows based PC and the X Server software, making it one of the largest multiplayer games currently available on the Xbox.  PC gamers will be able to host 40 players at a time. The software will be distributed free of charge at launch on Sept 1st.
