According to the rumors from the pages of the new Game Informer, an unnamed source states that a new Grand Theft Auto will be released by the end of 2009. The post also points out that Vice City was released less than a year after Grand Theft Auto III. Activision, publisher of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, has released sales information for one of their flagship franchises. In a press release sent out by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announcing the Blu-Ray release of the first Ghostbusters movie today, the release date for the game was also announced.  It does not mention much about the game, other than both the Blu-ray disc and game will be out simultaneously to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the film on June 16th, 2009.
