Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines Trailer Released

I think anyone who played Assassin’s Creed will remember the cliffhanger ending we were left with upon unraveling Altair’s final tasks. We were all thirsty for more. Now, if you’ve got a PSP, you’re in luck. You’ll be back in the action come Christmas.

It’s still not apparent whether Ubisoft will show us what’s become of that lovable cab driver, Desmond Miles, but we will get to follow his ancestor Altair on the next part of his quest: his mission to destroy the Knights Templar in Cypress. The trailer forBloodlines has just been released, so have a look, and if you have a PSP…..well lucky you.

Wolverine Movie adds Dialogue from The Game?

I know everyone loves mediocre summer blockbusters. They are all high budget, large explosions, testosterone, and generally a good distraction from the heat outside of the theater. That being said I know not many of us go to these movies for the stirring dialogue and spine chillingly good banter between characters, and boy what better way to hammer this in then the title of this post!

Hugh Jackman recently told Yahoo in an interview that he had been able to slip a few lines of the dialogue from the game into the movies script. For Hugh it must have felt like one of the most natural things in the world to do since they were essentially following the same plot, however, for someone who has thorough experience with videogames influencing movies I have to be somewhat of a skeptic.

I just can’t help it, I mean I love videogames and whenever a movie comes out I think this may just be the one that breaks the cycle, and so far I have been thoroughly disappointed. I may just be overreacting though, I mean the game influencing a movie that the game itself is based off of may actually be the key.

May Madness!

Since summer is coming very soon I figured it would be a good time to take a look at the games that are coming up that will be perfect to distraction from getting work done.

Bionic Commando: Slated for 5/19 this game looks to have a great combination of combat as well as great swinging action. Capcom has been working on this game for a while now so hopefully this 10^th anniversary game can live up to its hype.

Punch-Out: Slated for 5/19 as well, not much needs to be said about this cartoonish boxing game that is coming back from a long hiatus.

UFC 2009 Undisputed: Another 5/19 release that looks to pack the punch that the actual competition has. This looks to be as beautiful and just as hard-hitting as the sport itself.

Damnation: This shooter type game is slated for 5/26. This is a steampunk game that envisions our lives without electricity where steam rules. Check out what might have happened if the American Civil War didn’t end.

inFAMOUS: To be released 5/26. This game sees you playing the protagonist that has power over electricity in a town that was destroyed by….well…you. Lots of parkour type action in this game reminiscent of Assassin’s Creed and many different ways to use electricity in whatever way you wish.

Looking at these few games May looks like it is really going to be a great month. Everyone should have at least one game to look forward to. The only thing I can say is, my wallet will be hurting.
