Gamasutra revealed today that a very interesting, non-bear-with-Wii-remote containing patent filed by Nintendo has been made public. The patent contains a description of a possibility to have in-game video walkthrough that users can access when they get stuck, hopefully allowing the player to actually finish a game they would normally quit playing at frustratingly difficult moments. Ghostbusters Game Dated June 16th

In a press release sent out by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announcing the Blu-Ray release of the first Ghostbusters movie today, the release date for the game was also announced. It does not mention much about the game, other than both the Blu-ray disc and game will be out simultaneously to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the film on June 16th, 2009. Konami's latest entry in the survival horror franchise was able to survive the horror of Australia's strict video game outlines. Silent Hill: Homecoming just got the ability to sell in the land down under, receiving the Ma15+ max rating that the Australia rating system allows.
