An all new adventure being developed... more.

  • DANTE’S INFERENO GAME REVIEW 0 CommentsPosted by Taitai Sparks on May 24, 2010 under PS3, PS3 Reviews, Xbox 360, Xbox 360 Reviews
When I first heard that Visceral Games and Electronic Arts where making a game out of the thirteen century epic poem Divine Comedy I had reservations on how the game would be. But after playing the demo at first I kind of wrote it off as a God of War rip off but after playing the full game my thoughts somewhat changed.  The story of Dante’s Inferno is about a man’s quest to save the love of h... more.
  • Hands-On with Mafia II 0 CommentsPosted by Frank Hunter on March 31, 2010 under Featured Content, PC Games, PC Previews, PS3, PS3 Previews, Xbox 360, Xbox 360 Previews
When you hear the name, "2K Games,"  your mind probably jumps to one of two things: Bioshock or Oblivion. 2K is a subsidary of Take-Two productions, and has been around for five years now. In that five years they have published almost 40 different titles, but relatively few have gained any sort of notoriety among hard core gamers. The Family Guy Video Game and Ghost Rider I suppose, just did not ... more.

  • Risen Review 0 CommentsPosted by Jon Huie on March 7, 2010 under Featured Content, Xbox 360 Reviews
When I was asked to review Risen, I actually had not even heard of the game before. It was made by Piranha Bytes, the developers responsible for the Gothic series, and had been released last year on the PC. While there are definitely some graphical hangups and some minor control issues, Risen ended up impressing me more than I thought it would. Though I can't recommend this game to just anyone, pe... more.
  • AmpedGaming Podcast Episode 5 0 CommentsPosted by Jon Huie on February 22, 2010 under Featured Content, PC Games, Podcasts, Xbox 360
This weeks episode is the next to last time we'll be talking about Mass Effect 2 (aside from future DLC of course). Arsen couldn't make it this time so we'll give him a chance to talk about his ME2 experience in a couple weeks. Matt and I spoil the last half of this epic game and finish things off with a short discussion on some of the other things I've been playing recently. Intro and outro... more.
  • Mass Effect 2 Mineral Gathering Inspires Rap Song “Those Minerals” 1 CommentsPosted by Jon Huie on February 17, 2010 under PC News, Xbox 360 News
Anyone who listened to last week's Mass Effect 2 filled podcast knows how much one of my podcast cohorts, Arsen Nazaryan, loves scanning and gathering minerals in the game. This mundane activity in Mass Effect 2 normally makes me feel a need to put the TV tuner card in my PC to good use, but YouTube user Kabuto the Python took it as inspiration for a song. A pretty good one at that. Definitely wor... more.
  • Fable 3 Co-op To Be More Interesting Than In Fable 2 0 CommentsPosted by Jon Huie on under Xbox 360 News
Fable 2's co-op was very disappointing to me. The few times I did actually play the mode introduced in this sequel just proved to be a waste of time for the player who was entering the other's world since you couldn't join with your custom made character nor could you bring back any experience. Peter Molyneux, head of Lionhead Studios, intends to change this in Fable 3. On last week's 4 Guys... more.
  • Additional Xbox 1 vs 100 Type Programs On The Way 0 CommentsPosted by Jon Huie on February 16, 2010 under Xbox 360 News
After the surprising success of the 1 vs. 100 game show experiment, Aaron Greenburg  over at Microsoft has mentioned that similar types of programs are indeed being thought of throughout the year.  With such a large install base (23 million people), it wasn't hard for them to convince advertisers to come on board. "It wasn't that hard for us to convince folks (advertisers)," Greenburg says. "... more.
